I have noticed a increase of ants after the fumigationdespite having food properly secured. Is this a byproduct to the fumigation? How long can i expect this to last?
Hi. When will condo keys be available for pickup in the clubhouse this week? Thanks!
Hi. My unit is at buld 8644 and fumigation is scheduled for today. Just wanted to check if everything is going according to plan. thanks.
Yes, the project is developing as expected .
My tenant is at 8660 Via Mallorca Unit D. I am getting the key at 8AM tomorrow 10/3/2017. Who can I give it to tomorrow?
Aww shucks. Thanks for the compliment
I do write the responses myself.
Thanks for the feedback. It is much appreciated
I thought you were going to leave the key in the unit when finished. No key was left there. How do I get my key back?
Some units cannot be locked from the inside and it is necessary to take the keys out in order to leave the key locked and secured.
You can come into the clubhouse between 9-5 Mon – Fri to pick up your key.
The video states there is a document which lists foods that need to be bagged. Where can we find this?
On this page in the section above titled “What you need to do” You will find there links to the instructions on bagging and list of food items to be bagged.
My unit is scheduled to be fumigated next week; however, I wont be able to pick up the key until the following Monday (25th). Are you going to be at the Club house on the week of 25th? If you are, what time will you be there? If not, can you pass my key to the leasing office and I can get it from them instead? Thank you.
Yes, you can come pick your key up on the 25th between 9 am and 5 pm.
If I can not get back before 5 pm due to work, is there another way to pick up my key?
Hi, David
You can come pick up the key the business day following after your fumigation between 9 am and 5 pm.
I am sorry. Perhaps I should be more clear. I meant if I can not get out of work before 5 pm, how do I pick up my key from you.
We are not available outside of the times mentioned. Perhaps you could ask a friend or neighbor to pick it up on your behalf. If you do that, just be sure that they have an ID and something to verify that they are authorized to pick up your key.
The fumigation is over, but I didn’t find the dropped key at home. How can I get it back?

This may have already been answered above, but do we need to bag condiments, e.g. salt, spices, etc ?
Yes
Hello there,
I am an owner of one of units. Yesterday, I stopped by the unit to fix a problem and found there has been notices for fumigation. My tenant has stayed in the east coast for internship. For this reason, no one has received notices. I just found it yesterday. I have just forwarded the link to the tenant. I don’t know why I didn’t receive notices to my mailing address as well. Also, it would have been better if I received notices by e-mail. Anyway, I would like to let you know our current situation and look forward to hearing your advices.
Hi, Hyung-Dae
As the termite control service provider, we do not have access to any contact information for unit owners other than what was provided by your HOA. Your HOA may not have had your email on file at their office. We are glad to help your tenant get caught up and ready for the process.
Hello Isaac,
Thanks for your reply. By the way, I am wondering how I can obtain the fumigation bags? Also, how can I deliver the unit’s key at this moment? Thank you very much.
You can come in to the clubhouse (not the sales office) Mon-Fri between 9-4 to drop off your key and pick up bags.
where we live in the process?
Hi, Tom
I don’t understand your question. Can you rephrase?
I might want to rent a hotel room. At the meeting the presenter mentioned there was a discount for this. Can you tell me what hotel and how I claim the discount?
Hi, Tim
We had arranged a corporate rate with Embassy Suites. However, my understanding is that they only honor discount pricing if a minimum of rooms are booked with them, and not enough people booked in order for them to honor the group rate. Unfortunately, that is beyond our control.
However, I personally find that hotwire.com and expedia.com usually have access to great local hotel rates and are sometimes better than proposed group rates.
Hi Isaac,
I am writing to compliment you on the communication on this project. Our HOA is notoriously bad at letting us know what is happening but Accurate has done a GREAT JOB!!. Everything has happened exactly as you said it would.
Just got home and my unit is in great condition–just a few drawers left open–but otherwise looks really good.
Glad to hear. We do take pride in delivering on our promises, and people don’t usually take the time to acknowledge when things go right. Thanks for sharing. ? We are glad we could be of service.
If you would be willing, please write us a review on Yelp here: https://www.yelp.com/biz/accurate-termite-and-pest-control-escondido or on your favorite review platform.
I saw the different name “your way fumigation” on the trucks instead of “accurate termite”. Are they your affiliated of subsidiary company? I am sorry for such a question, but please let me confirm it, just in case. Do you know their employees’ background?
Your Way Fumigation is our Branch I contractor for this particular project. In California, a fumigation requires a Branch III, which we hold, and Branch I licenses in order to execute a fumigation of any structure.
Hi, please let me make sure of a couple of things. Does unopened plastic bottled water and unopened wine with cork also need to bag?
May we see dead termites in our unit after fumigation?
Unopened, sealed, and packaged beverages do not need to be bagged.
It is likely that you will see the left-over termite droppings throughout the years as the building continues to move and shift.
I will be attending the upcoming meeting on 8/31/17 at 6pm. Is there any way you could provide key tags at this meeting, so that we can label our address on the keys that we drop off to you? Thank you!
One key-tag for Michelle ☺.
Thank you! 🙂
Hi — I am scheduled to attend the town hall at 6 pm on 29 August, but I am working evenings all that week. I understand there are meetings at 10 am and 1 pm on Sat, 2 Sept. Can I attend one of those instead ?
You may attend any meeting you’d like. Just be sure to have your form filled out and keys turned in by the dates posted for your individual building. The form can be filled out and keys turned in at anytime before they are due.
On the first initial packet we received it stated that there was going to be a fumigation prep meeting on Tuesday Aug. 29th at 6pm. However, on the on a subsequent flyer we received there is no indication that the meeting is happening on that date. It also did not give that date as an option on the website as well. This is the only date that I (or my wife) can go to one of the meetings as we will be out of town during Labor Day weekend. Can you confirm whether the fumigation prep meeting for 8/29 is still happening or if it was cancelled? Thank you in advance for your time and feedback. I look forward to hearing from you asap.
Yes, there is still a meeting on the 29th. See you then!
We were out of town and unfortunately missed the information meetings. The comments/answers and PDFs in this website have been useful replacements. As for the special storage bags for food and so on, where can I pick them up? Thanks.
You can pick up your bags at the HOA office. Don’t forget to fill out your form using the button above.
Not clear about carport. Do we need to remove the car?
Carports are not affected by this project. You can leave your vehicles in the carports as normal.
Hi, I manage unit ‘O’ but it is not listed anywhere on the notice. Come to find out, it is part of the fumigation. I need to notify my tenants on the what day they are scheduled.
I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
Use the tool above on this page to find your fumigation dates. Please search by building address, not unit letter.
The apartments M,N,O,P of 3056 Via Alicante are not on the fumigation list. Do the occupants need to do any preparations?
Thanks for pointing that out. It is a glitch in the system. All units are being fumigated and must follow the preparation instructions. Those units would follow the same schedule and instructions as the rest of the building they are in.
I / my property management company missed the Prep meeting. The office at Villa La Jolla says they have a black box at the office that people can put their keys into and they can be picked up from there. Is that ok with you or is there another way you would like the keys to be got to you?
Yes, please do drop off your key at the office during business hours. Please be sure to label your key so we know where it belongs and fill out the form, if you haven’t already, on this webpage.
In order to make sure you understand the process and how you need to prepare your unit, please be sure to watch the video above in it’s entirety.
I need to drop the key to my unit. Can I ship it, drop it off to a San Diego location, or is there an alternative option besides the designated meeting times? My wife and I are expecting and our due date is within the next few weeks and it may be challenging for me to drop it off at the designated schedules. I completed the online authorization form as well. Please let me know.
Congratulations, exciting times for you and your family.
You can drop off your labeled key at the sales office onsite during normal business hours.
One last thing–for future meetings–this website is very thorough and complete. Again, it would be helpful to make a big point of this in future meetings. I think some people missed that the video is on the website if they want to see it again. Also, the pdfs regarding what needs to be bagged–the writing is small on the handout–the pdf can be view at a much larger size on any computer monitor.
I was in the meeting last night and I thought it went pretty well. One thing that many people seem to have missed was that the Board will be providing extra security during the tenting. As you mentioned this is a “transient” neighborhood and we have had many security issues. In the future meetings you should probably make a big point of this. It will help people feel better about the process.
Also, the question about the carports–you should talk to the property manager (Frank Squires). The carports have undergone extensive inspections and repairs in the past few years. Termite infested parts have been replaced for the most part.
The video says that it can get hot under the tent and to remove any trash from your unit to avoid smell. That’s fine–I will do so. But the unit below mine is currently trashed and I believe there is garbage everywhere inside which will not be removed prior to fumigation. Will Accurate remove any trash so odor does not enter my unit?
Hi, Linda.
Accurate will not be doing any cleanup or trash removal. Our representatives will be strictly focused on the tasks related to fumigation.
We will proceed with the fumigation if plants are in the unit or on the balconies–you are not required to remove them. However, plants that stay in balconies and unit interiors are likely to die or at least wilt in the fumigation. To avoid your plants dying, move them to any open area where they do not disturb normal flow of foot-traffic.
Finally got the website to work.
Glad to hear its working for you. ☺ Feel free to let us know again if there are further issues.
Information put in our doors a few days ago says we can return to our units by 2 pm on the third day. Now the website is saying 5 pm–which is it????
The time to return is 5 PM. Sorry for the confusion.
Website is NOT working. I cannot sign in with my email to fill out the form and notice of compliance. I am scheduled for 8/28-8/30. There are two more meetings on 8/8 and 8/10. Why must I sign this form by August 7th???? And how can I sign it if the web site is not working????
